Everyone have a good one? What I have been doing..

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 11:02 AM
Well, I hope everyone had a great Halloween, I know it's not celebrated everywhere; heck, some places it's not even a National holiday yet! :noes: So, mine was pretty typical for someone of my age, I stayed home and watched movies. Although it was pretty annoying when my psycho "attack dog" would rush the door when trick-or-treaters would ring the door-bell. She wouldn't hurt anyone, she is just so excited  My Mom, Dad, two sisters, brother-in-law and I watched some pretty good Halloween flicks, while noming on candy, cupcakes and subs.

-Night of the Living Dead (1968)
-Buggs Bunny's Howl-O-Ween
-It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!
-Halloween (1978)

About Michael Myers, is it just me or does he seem to have some sort of business on the side with Marty McFly? Whenever someone sees him and they go to get him; Annie goes and calls him "creep!"; or when they see him outside the window; Tommy with the whole Boogeyman thing; he's never there! I know that is supposed to make the movie and the character all the more creepy, but my whole conclusion was that he talked Marty McFly into getting him one of those hover boards from "Back to the Future Part II". It makes sense, that's why he's never there , imagine the cut out footage of Michael crusing down the street xD My Dad said, "Well he is outside" and I replied, "Well, there's no transition". Turning your brain off is a hard thing to do while watching movies :)

Something I should have done the week before is tell you all about, "Where the Wild Things Are". Let me say this first, don't go into the theater expecting a kid's movie. It was a lot darker than I expected and they did a good job of turning a 17 page book or so, into a movie. I really enjoyed looking at the "wild things", I wouldn't mind having one of them as a friend  I loved Alexander and Carol. This movie also had a lot of connection between Max, the little boy, and these creatures. The music was unique, it sounded likt 90% was done by children. I would recomend it to anyone who isn't afraid of a little love and mush.

Last thing I want to say, today is the 6th anniversery of one of my favorite Disney films, "Brother Bear". It is the second to last hand drawn film that was put into production before the studio was shut down. I really enjoyed it and I still do. Despite what my "Disney Days" calendar said, "October 24th 2003" that was the sneek peek and "October 20th 2003" was the the premire, the official release date for the USA was November 1st 2003, Saturday; yes, I was obsessed and still am  I think my calendar used to say "Nov.1" for the movie, but then it changed? So happy "Brother Bearversery"!

Yyyeah, I had to hide your comment on my page because although certain people have already made that connection, I would prefer to be known as my dA username on here due to certain issues that I'm not sure can be easily resolved. 'Kay? Kay.

Oh sorry! I'll be more careful.

Do you really think the dA staff would really go around spying on people they already banned? I can understand trolls though.
